Elven Mage Guide To Leveling 1-20 (Lineage 2 Server)

Welcome to the world of Aden. I will be your guide through your travel from level one to twenty. I will help you to become the greatest mage of Aden by helping you find key quests, shops, and leveling spots. First you should go through the short but very important guide at the beginning of your adventurer. Now go, be guided, with haste fair one.

Back? Great, let’s get you started on the road to twenty. First off equip your rod and armor by hitting tab and right clicking on the armor and rod in there. Next go to the bottom right hand of your screen and click on the first button to the left. Go to the actions button under there and put Wind strike, attack, sit and pick up items and heal in your hot bar too the right of your screen. Place them in the following order:

• 1. Wind strike
• 2. Attack
• 3. Sit
• 4. Pick up items
• 5. Heal

To use those just hit the corresponding F key, for Wind strike F1, attack F2 and so on as you get more spells and what not.

Now leave the building you started in if you haven’t already and talk to one of the Mother temps located under the large tree and get the quest from them to collect fangs. Time to show some keltirs the wrath of a real mage. Keltirs are your local neighborhood fox looking things, long tails that kind of look like a raccoon’s tail. Here is where you have to make a choice, how long to kill the little furry beasts. I recommend killing only Keltirs until level seven, though that may seem like a long grind and very repetitive, it’s worth it.

Killing only Keltirs, not young Keltirs or anything else, just the ones named Keltirs insures that you can keep on a steady path to six without having to sit and heal. Also, by sticking to only Keltirs you get one SP per kill which is the case for anything around there after you hit level two. Since they are such low level it will take more and more kills to level but you will always get one SP so you build up a large SP pool by the time you hit Seven. This will allow you to get some nice skills right away once you make it to town.

Level seven? Awesome, go back to the Mother Temps and talk to one of them, they will tell you to talk to Nerupa, the weird spider looking lady in the center of the semicircle the Mothers. Talk to her, trust me, she won’t bite…not until she has wrapped you up in her web! Once you have received your map from Nerupa head up the bridge behind you.

This is the Elven village and everything you need is close and simple to find. First to your right is the weapon shop and to your left is storage and beyond that the skill building. Head to the south wall and enter the building there, this is the skill building where you can learn different spells.

Learn wind strike and ice bolt, which you will need to buy a book for from the magic shop. You will want to max both these skills out first, since the self heal you have will heal you well for a while. As you level come back and get heal, cure poison 1, you will need that later, and the defensive skills. Next buy some armor from the armor shop and just save you money for now after that, watch for deals on armor from players by checking the shops and comparing their prices.

Leave town out the Southwest exit and head northwest and begin killing gray wolves, Kaboo orc grunts, kaboo orcs, goblin raiders, and green dryads. Beware that all the previously listed monsters will help their brothers aside from the gray wolfs. If you want some quick killing just continue to roll through the green dryads and gray wolfs. You can power threw these buy first casting ice bolt to slow them then casting wind strike and repeating until dead.

There is also another way to level, given that you like to run, shoot, run shoot and like huge chucks of XP. If you are bold enough, you can head west past the crossroads and over a bridge. Here you will find Liriens that you can kill these using your spells wisely. This is called kiting, just attack the creature with an ice bolt, then run, wind strike, ice bolt, run, and so on, you get the idea.

Now, I myself prefer not to start kiting until later, but it is an option now, so I had to make you aware of it. Here is my reason, I don’t like having to run, shoot, run, shoot over and over just to kill one creature and receive a huge amount of XP and sp. Sound nuts do I? Well, the reason is because in the time it takes me to kill one Lirien I can have several of the other creatures dead with little work and about the same XP if not more.

You are going to fail a lot more and miss when you cast your spells against the liriens because they are higher level then you, much higher. But you will hit them, it will just take time to kill them. Either way you should level until you are level either so you can get a money quest in town. If you want to kite your way to levels then skip the rest of this part of the guide until you see the section entitled “Kiting”, the rest of you use the remainder of the guide.

Once you reach level eight, then head back into town. On your immediate left will be the magic shop, enter and talk to Trader Herbtien on the right and get the quest to collect spore sacks. Go out of town through the southwest gate and open your map. On the map to the south you should see Iris Lake, go to the left side of there and kill Spore Fungus until you get ten spore sacs. Then return to town and give them to the trader for a reward of two thousand Adena. Continue to hunt these until you reach level ten or higher.

Covered in spore gunk? Need some more power? Well, I have a fix for you. Go back into town and make your way to the Southeast exit and talk Sentinel Kendnell who will give you an easy and very rewarding quest. He will give you one of four targets, opening your inventory and going to the quest tab will show you the orders; left click to see the name of the orc you need to kill. Be warned that the orcs may have fellow orcs around them that will attack you and all the orc chiefs have a warhound with them, though they are weak. Below is a list of the orcs and their locations, but they wander a bit around their spawn points:

- #1 Kaboo Chief Uoph. Southwest exit and the northwest to ruins.

- #2 Kaboo Chief Kracha. Southwest exit go immediately south and look for nine towers, he is there.

- #3 Kaboo Chief Batoh. Open your map, head to the Elven Fortress, he wanders around outside there.

- #4 Kaboo Chief Tanukia. Southwest exit and follow the road to the crossroads. He is to the Southwest near some ruins.

The second part requires you to kill another orc and here again is a list of the orcs:

- #5 Kaboo Chief Turel. Southwest exit and immediately south, cross the river and look for him in the ruins on top of the hill.

- #6 Kaboo Chief Roko. Southwest exit, head to Iris Lake, he is located on the left side near the shore next to some ruins.

- #7 Kaboo Chief Kamut. He is on the south end of Iris Lake across the road in a field.

- #8 Kaboo Chief Murika. Go out the Southeast exit and follow the road over two bridges, he will be in the second set of ruins on the left.

Return to Sentinel Kendnell and you will receive Red Sunset Staff, now you have some power. Now it’s time to get some more levels by tackling some eight-legged freaks and some floating beauties. Make your way to the crossroads and form a team, get two tanks around your level. Shout out over the all channel that you are looking for two tanks and you will get replies quickly I’m sure.

Once you have formed a team head to the West to the spider fields. Now, the first thing you need to know is that Hook spiders will not attack you, Crimson and Pincer Spiders will, as will the random Liriens but all are social so be careful how you pull. It’s best if you use your bow to pull Liriens out of groups of spiders and vice versa.

Now kill like mad until you reach fourteen and make sure to watch for a Bow of Forest off of the Hook spiders, it’s a one-hundred and fifty-thousand Adena weapon and very useful. Now that you are fourteen you can return to town and upgrade wind strike and ice bolt.

Now you need to talk to Sentinel Knight Alberryus, you will find him outside the skill building on the balcony. Talk to him, accept the quest and then go inside to talk to Master Cobendell. After speaking to Cobendell head out of the Southwest exit to the crossroads. To the Southwest you will find the Dryads and Dryad ribes you need to kill for the Dryad tears. Time to make some leaf wearing weirdos cry!

After you have severely beaten the tears out of the Dryads return to town and talk to Master Cobendell. Once you have talked to him talk to Sentinel Knight Alberryus and he will ask you to give some potions to the other Sentinels. The first one is Sentinel Gartrandell who is on the same balcony as Alberryus. The next Sentinel is Sentinel Veltress as the Southeast exit, then Sentinel Berryos at the Northeast exit and lastly Sentinel Rayjien at the Southwest exit. Return to Sentinel Knight Alberryus to receive your reward, a Sentinel Staff.

If you want there are two other quests to pick up for a bone shield and a leather shirt though they require a lot more work then the staff quests. But if you are going to do the bone shield one you might as well do the leather shirt too. First, talk to Sentinel Stardyen at the Southwest exit for the leather shirt quest and then Trader Unoren in the weapon shop for the bone shield one.

Next go to the Elven Fortress and find a team unless you already have one. Venture into the fortress and kill Baraq orc fighter and Baraq orc Sub leaders for the parts you need for the leather shirt quest. After you have collected all four poems head deeper in and kill skeletons for the ten bone fragments you need and Mist Terrors for the three skulls.

Now that you have collected the parts you need return to town and talk to Sentinel Stardyen on your way in for the leather shirt reward and then to Trader Unoren for the bone shield and two thousand XP rewards. Now breath fair one, you have worked hard to get this far, and you only have a short stretch to the end.

Head back to the crossroad and pick up another team around your level unless you happen to have one. Head to the west over the bridge to what is called the Neutral Area, the area between the Dark Elves and the Elf's. Here you will find Scavenger Wererats and Arachevils and Lyconthropes.

The Wererats won’t attack you but Arachevil and Lycanthropes on the other hand will and the Arachevil has poison, which can be a real pain, make sure you have cure poison 1. Watch out for the Lycanthropes, best just to stay away from them as they hit pretty hard.

All targets are social and after killing so many wererats you may get a wererat chief to spawn with a couple of buddies. I didn’t have enough guts to go see if they attack but lets treat them as if the do. If this place gets too boring for you, you can always head back to the elf fortress for levels, though as one Elf I know said, that place is the spawn of all evil.

Well, here we are, level twenty and you still as good looking and clean as ever. Guess you showed me that you don’t have to get dirty to be great. Congratulations and don’t forget to head back to town to do your profession change now that you are twenty. It has been a great time, I hope to see you again in the future, good luck and safe travels.

KITING 101

So you have chosen the road of a kiter, cool. Now make sure you have learned how to use the camera effectively, such as facing yourself when you start a attack then clicking behind you to start running then hitting the wheel on your mouse to flip around to see what is chasing you. There really isn’t much to kiting, just that you make sure that you only kite creatures that are slower then you. It will take you time to kill all these creatures with kiting, but the SP and XP turn out is great.

Anyway, here is what you can kite to twenty easy.

• Any kind of Bat, very slow and found around dark elf territory and later for higher ones at the ruins below Gludio.
• Slugs as I call them, or Mist Leeches as the game names them, can be found in the misty swamp of Cruma Tower. Watch out though, there are mist horror’s in there that will eat you quick.
• Golems, they can be found around the dark elf territory with the bats.
• Liriens are excellent prey, very slow moving.
• In general, anything that is slow moving can be kited with efficiency

Human Fighter Guide To Leveling 1-20 (Lineage 2 raid bosses)

Welcome to the world of Aden. I will be your guide through your travel from level one to twenty. I will help you to become the greatest fighter in Aden by helping you find key quests, shops, and leveling spots. First you should go through the short but very important guide at the beginning of your adventurer. Now go, be guided, quickly young jedi.

Back? Great, let’s get you started on the road to twenty. First off equip your sword and armor by hitting tab and right clicking on the armor and sword in there. Next go to the bottom right hand of your screen and click on the first button to the left. Go to the actions button under there and put attack, sit and pick up items in your hot bar too the right of your screen. Place them in the following order: 1. Attack 2.Sit 3.Pick up items. To use those just hit the corresponding F key, for attack F1, sit F2 and so on as you get more attacks and what not.

Next talk to one of the Masters and get the quest from them to collect fangs. Now leave the building and head out to cut up some Keltirs, your local neighborhood fox looking things. Here is where you have to make a choice, how long to kill the little furry beasts. I recommend killing only Keltirs until level six, though that may seem like a long grind and very repetitive, it’s worth it. Killing only Keltirs, not young Keltirs or anything else, just the ones named Keltirs insures that you can keep on a steady path to six without having to sit and heal. Also, by sticking to only Keltirs you get one SP per kill which is the case for anything around there after you hit level two. Since they are such low level it will take more and more kills to level but you will always get one SP so you build up a large SP pool by the time you hit six. This will allow you to get some nice skills right away once you make it to town.

Now that you have reached five or six head back into the building you started in and talk to Grandmaster Roien to receive a map of talking island and fifty SP points. Next, head out of the building and follow the path off the small island that was your birthplace and into the scary world of Aden, don’t worry, I’ll be right here.

First, look to your right as you come off the bridge. You should see a lighthouse looking structure off to the north, head for it. Once you reach the lighthouse talk to Lighthouse keeper Rockswell and get the quest from him. Run south until you come back to the bridge, killing Keltirs, any type now, as you go. If you didn’t get the ten furs you needed before reaching the bridge just keep killing Keltirs until you do. When you have collected the required ten keltir furs head to the NW gate of town, which should be close to you. There you will find two guards decked out in armor you only wish you had. Talk to guard Arnold and accept the quest to deliver the goods.

If you have weak legs you are certainly going to be hurting after this, you have a lot of running to do. Enter town and go straight to the center where you will find a large tower like structure. On the North side of the structure is a man name Daring who hasn’t the courage to face the women he loves. Take his quest to help him profess his love and then run to the east side of town.

You should know that the shops in this town decided they didn’t want business and planted themselves all along the walls rather then along the roads through town. Lucky for them we aren’t lazy and know where to find them. Head to the East behind the buildings to find the warehouse and a woman named Cristal standing outside next to a well. Talk to Cristal and then enter the warehouse and talk to Warehouse keeper Rollfran and Warehouse keeper Rant.

Now that you have talked to them leave and head back to the center of town where you will need to head for the North west gate and head right before exiting. Back here you will find the magic shop where you will need to talk to Trader Silvia and get what you need from her for the quest from guard Arnold. Leave the shop and run back to the north west exit and go left before exiting town where you will find the weapon shop.

Enter and talk to Trader Jackson who will give you the last part of the quest for guard Arnold. Exit the shop and head South East to the road where you should see a church across the road to the right. On the left side of the church you will see the beautiful Gatekeeper Rapunzel standing in front of a well. Talk to her and give her the letter from Daring and she turns out to like him just as much. Run back to the road and follow it to the right to the center of town where you will find Daring.

Daring will tell you how happy he is and that he wants you to go get a potion for him from Magistor Baulro. You will find Magistor Baulro back in the church on the left side. After you have received the potion from Magistor Baulro run back to Daring and talk to him, he will reward you with four hundred and fifty Adena.

Are you tired yet? It’s ok, you are almost done running around now. Head back to the SouthEast gate and talk to guard Arnold and you will receive six hundred Adena and a lesser healing potion as a reward for your hard work. One more stop before you can sit and rest your legs, to the lighthouse! Once at the lighthouse talk to Rockswell and you will get four hundred Adena and one thousand one hundred XP. See? Wasn’t that worth it? Take a break and rest your tired legs, you have earned it.

Now that you have rested it’s time to head back to town. On the East Side of town you will find the trainers in a building along the road. This is where you will come to get your skills to become all that you can be. You have more choices now, what kind of fighter do you want to be? There are four types, sword, dagger, bow fighter, and the hybrid Bow/melee combination. I highly recommend the hybrid bow/melee combo since you can use the bow with the power shot skill to pull a monster to you and switch to your melee weapon by having them hot keyed to your hot bar. Either way you go make sure to get rest first then an attack skill for your weapon type.

So you have money, new attacks, a butt load of courage and you are ready to whip some booty like no other? Well…not just yet, you still need to get new armor and weapons before you venture out to slice and dice. Remember where the weapon shop is? No? Too bad, guess you’ll have to scroll back up…bah, it’s to the left of the NorthWest gate before you leave the town.

Once you get there talk to Trader Lector and sell anything you have found at this point and then buy a new weapon, the ones in the eight hundred and eighty three Adena range. Buy the basic armors offered, the cheap stuff, nothing big because you will need to save your Adena and the cheapest is enough. Next talk to Trader Lector again and grab the Quest from him to kill wolfs. Once you have all that you need from here head out of the store and to the right to the road that runs in front of the church. Follow the road out of town until you come to a bridge that crosses a river. On the other side of this bridge is our next target for elimination with extreme prejudice, wolfs.

A little note about your new special attacks, they may do a great amount of damage and seem really nice to open a battle with but they are even better to close a battle. Here’s the nice thing about these specials, they have something called over-hit. When you over hit something you increase the amount of XP given from the target, the lower the life of the target when you use your special the move XP bonus you get, up to twenty five percent. Learn how to use over hit effectively to level quicker.

Cross the bridge, don’t worry, no trolls below, and begin the slaughter of the wolves. Make sure to use rest to sit, it will heal your faster then just plopping your butt down normally. After you have collected the forty wolves pelts head back to town and turn them into Trader Lector. He will give you a random reward of armor or cash. Get the quest from him again and head back out to the wolves. Repeat this process until you reach level nine or ten, though ten is pushing it hard.

If you get sick of the leveling speed of wolves you can head west to some new killing fields. Here you should find Orcs, Orc Grunts, and Werewolves, you can kill these instead of wolves for faster levels though the money turn out will be less in the end. As you gain money buy wooden armor off of other players or from the weapon shop.

Now that you have hit level nine go back through town and out the SouthEast exit to the training grounds. Go into the building out there and talk to Grandmaster Roien who will give you the quest for your Sword of Solidarity and tell you to talk to Blacksmith Alltran. You can find Alltran near our good friend Daring in the center of town. Once you talk to Alltran open your map and run out the NorthWest gate and head for the Elven Ruins.

Ok, finally at the Elven ruins? Great, now see if you can’t find a team outside, you are going to need one to kill your new targets at this point. If you can’t hook up with someone outside then talk to Gatekeeper Ciffon and ask to be warped inside the ruins. There you can search for a team over the all channel. Once you have hooked up with a team follow them if they know the place and you should get what you need for the sword, if not read on.

Lost? Team about to stumble around in the darkness of this dirty pile of rubble? No problem, I’ll guide you to where you need to be to get your sword parts. The first left has a Skeleton standing back a ways at a corner, he will attack you, and he will hurt so work with your team to drop him, though it shouldn’t be any trouble. In this back room you will find Vampire bats, Lennunt orc snipers, and Relic werewolves, none of which will attack you. The snipers will hit you hard so be careful, but they have what you need.

The first room camped? All right, next room then, the first right. Here you will find all the creatures you found in the first room. If you head to the right in this room you will find a ramp leading down to another room full of monsters, one of which may just stare you down, the Monster Eyes. Yes, it seems some poor giant has lost an eye, or maybe it’s an eye enchanted by some warlock. In any case, they are fun to kill though they don’t drop the parts you need. There are some Orcs here to kill for your sword parts, start the slaughter and don’t stop until the floors are soaked in blood.

Got your sword parts? Super, return to town and talk to Alltran who will give you a note to give to Grandmaster Roien. Talk to Roien and take the handle he gives you back to Alltran who will give you a complete sword. Congratulations, you now have what you need to reach level twenty. You have two options now, you can leave talking island, though you will return later or you can continue to level in the Elven ruins. Either way there is one more quest you should do before you leave the island. Talk to Grandmagister Gallint in the starting area and get the quest from him.

Now that you have the quest head back to where you killed wolves at, you may have seen spirit of mirrors when you were around there before. If you didn’t he is to the west a little along the bank of the river. You must make the last hit with one of the wands in order to get what you need for the quest. Next head north to find the Orc Spirit Of Mirrors and then Werewolf Spirit Of Mirrors who is located on the far west of the island. There is a waterfall up near him, he is located North West of there, but watch out for any thing that might attack you as you go.

So you have all the wands now from the Mirrors? Great, take the wands back to Grandmagister Gallint. He will give you a staff of adept, sell it, no need for it since you are a fighter, besides, you want the thirteen thousand you get from it.

If you are absolutely tired and wore out of the ruins and this wretched island then run for the harbor on the South end of the island. On the right as you come to the dock you will see Wharf Manager Phillon who will sell you a boat ticket for two thousand four hundred Adena. The ship arrives every half-hour so be there when it comes or miss your ride to the main land and freedom.

Make it to the main land? Awesome, head East and you should run into a road, follow is south to the town of Gludin. Once you arrive at Gludin find someone selling a world map or a shop and buy one. There is a magic shop located in the center of town on the right side. If you want to make your trip even shorter and you happen to have two thousand five hundred to spend then go to the top left corner of the town and talk to the Gatekeeper there and warp to Gludio.

Too poor? That’s ok, just follow the road out the east gate and use the map to navigate to Gludio. Watch the road on the way because there are monsters along the way that will attack you if you get too close to them. From Gludio run out the East gate and into the river that runs North to South and follow it North until it comes to a bridge. Now remember that river, because you will travel to Gludio many times to get skills and later on better weapons.

Climb out of the water and follow the road to the Y and go North along that road. Stay on that road and watch out for the spiders and Lireins along the way since they will attack you. You will come to a crossroads where you should stop and look for group if you are ready to team.

If you would like to make some cash there is a quest in town for you. Head into town and take a left immediately after you get off the bridge and head into the magic shop. Talk to the trader on the right and get the quest to collect spore sacks. Go out of town through the west gate and open your map. On the map to the south you should see Iris lake, go to the left of there and kill Spore Fungus until you get ten spore sacs. Then return to town and give them to the trader for a reward of two thousand Adena.

You can repeat this quest as much as you want and buy some new armor for yourself. Though I recommend sticking with the wooden armor for the life bonus and defense bonus, plus the stuff you can buy in this town that is above it only offers a tiny bit more defense and no life bonus. After you have finished farming money head to the crossroads and form a team of one healer and two tanks by shouting out in the all channel that you are looking for a healer and another tank around your level.

Once you have formed a team head West to the spider fields. Now, the first thing you need to know is that Hook spiders will not attack you, Crimson Spiders will, as will the random Liriens but all are social so be careful how you pull. It’s best if you use your bow to pull Liriens out of groups of spiders and vice versa. Now kill like mad until you reach fifteen and make sure to watch for a Bow of Forest off of the Hook spiders, it’s a one-hundred and fifty-thousand Adena weapon and very useful.

Once you reach level fifteen head to the west over the bridge to what is called the Neutral Area, the area between the Dark Elves and the Elfs Here you will find Scavenger Wererats and Arachevils and Lyconthropes. The Wererats won’t attack you but the Arachevil and Lycanthropes on the other hand will and the Arachevil has poison, which can be a real pain, make sure your healer has cure poison 1. Watch out for the Lycanthropes, best just to stay away from them as they hit pretty hard.

All targets are social and after killing so many wererats you may get a wererat chief to spawn with a couple of buddies. I didn’t have enough guts to go see if they attack but lets treat them as if the do. If this place gets too boring for you, you can always head to the elf fortress for levels, though as one Elf I know said, that place is the spawn of all evil.
Welcome to level twenty! Congratulations and a happy 20th! You should return to Talking Island for your profession change now. Thanks for using the guide and good luck.

Good Leveling Tip For Level 30-40 DD And DoT'er (Lineage 2 top 200)

First off, goto the sea of spores. Once there, go find two types of mobs, Spore Zombies, and Rotting Golems. Have your DoT'er DoT them, then get your DD (If you're a scout-like class don't use a bow since golems have reduced damage against them) to hit it while the creep tries following the DoT'er at a very slow pace. The DoT'er could probably do this by his/her-self, but you take lots of damage if you are hit by these things (I was taking about 100-150 damage with 391 pdef). Also, you wont waste as much mana if the DD is beating them senseless while you sit somewhere. Finally, I made about 1200 xp and 95 SP per kill. In about an hour I made close to 20% xp (Which is good for level 33), got 40-50k Adena, and another 30k in items (Steel and Leather being the main ones dropped). To end this, just remember to stay away from the tarantulas that are out there. They caused problems for me and my friend while we were out there. Ready for the next level? Orc Mage Guide To Leveling 1-20 (Lineage 2 skills)

Welcome to the world of Aden. I will be your guide through your travel from level one to twenty. I will help you to become the strongest Orc Mage in Aden by helping you find key quests, shops, and leveling spots. First you should go through the short but very important guide at the beginning of your adventurer. Now go, be guided, quickly beefy green one.

Back? Great, let’s get you started on the road to twenty. First off equip your rod and armor by hitting tab and right clicking on the armor and rod in there. Next go to the bottom right hand of your screen and click on the first button to the left. Go to the actions button under there and put attack, sit and pick up items and heal in your hot bar too the right of your screen. Place them in the following order:

• 1. Attack
• 2. Sit
• 3. Pick up items

To use those just hit the corresponding F key, for attack F1, sit F2 and so on as you get more spells and what not.

Next talk to one of the Priests or Priestess of Fire and get the quest from them to collect fangs. Now leave the building and head out to bash up some Keltirs, your local neighborhood fox looking things. Here is where you have to make a choice, how long to kill the little furry beasts. I recommend killing only Keltirs until level six, though that may seem like a long grind and very repetitive, it’s worth it.

Killing only Keltirs, not young Keltirs or anything else, just the ones named Keltirs insures that you can keep on a steady path to seven without having to sit and heal.

All right beef stick, get level seven? Good, get your green butt back into the temple and talk to the Priest or Priestess that gave you the quest to collect the fangs. Then talk to Guardian of Flame Vullkus and you will receive 50 SP and a map of Elmore. Leave the temple and follow the road through the gate into the city, wait though, on your immediate left and right are the people who will allow you to learn skills. Stop in on the left to see Perfect Brukuse who will train you. Not much of a decision here, get wind strike and ice bolt.

Leave the building and head to the center of town where you should see a large gazebo like structure with a man name Guide Tanai standing under it. You will use this as a landmark to navigate your way around the town. First off you can talk to the guide for a little info about skills and what not, I recommend doing this though he will repeat some of what I have told you.

Now head Southeast to the weapon store and sell your goods then buy a weapon and armor such as cloth cap and boots. Leave the shop and take a breath, you are about to venture out into the world and get bloody. Run to the North gate and talk to Praetorian Rukain and accept the quest from him and run Northeast off the cliff into the woods below. Here you will find the Kasha wolfs you were sent to slaughter, let the blood bath begin!

Have fifty wolf fangs? Nice, now clean off the blood and fur off your gloves and go Northeast. You will come to a road intersection, go up the hill. In the distance you should see the town and the gate you exited out of. Talk to the guard and you should receive a necklace of courage, repeat the quest until you get a necklace of valor.

Now that you have received your necklace of valor head into the town and to the gazebo structure. Go to the building where you get your skills at but instead of going to the right where Brukuse is go left to see Seer Livina. Talk to her and get the quest from her to hunt goblin grave robbers. After receiving the quest from Seer Livina leave her room and run across towards Brukuse’s room and take a left up the ramp just before his room. Talk to Atuba Chief Varkees at the top of the ramp and accept the quest from him to hunt Rakeclaw Imps.

Now that you have those quests leave town out the South Gate exit and turn left running off the cliff there. Run Northeast until you see rakeclaw imps and goblin grave robbers, both of which will help their companions if they are near when you attacking them. Pick them off until you get fifty goblin heads and return to town and collect your rewards from both Varkees and Livina and repeat until you are level nine or ten.

So green guy, you have hit level ten and are ready for a real challenge? Super because I have the fight just for you. First, if you haven’t already, buy some a new weapon from the store or look for a player selling one.

This is where kiting comes in really for your class. If you would like to learn about kiting, skip to the end of the guide and read kiting 101.

Next go to our good old friend Prefect Brukurse and accept the quest from him to kick some werewolf butt. Now, run out the South Gate and run off the cliff to your left. Follow the road along the Southwest coast on your map until you have passed two left turns. After the second left turn follow the road until about the middle of the hill you are running along. You should see a path leading up the hill, follow it to your new targets, Maraku Wolfmen.

Our new foes are Maraku Wolfmen, nasty evil dog things they are, beware. A little note about the Maraku Wolfmen green one, they will help their brothers so be careful, two can tear you a new poop shoot. As you maim the Maraku Wolfmen you should be get a Maraku Wolfmen Totem every once in a while, these are what you are after, they sell for six hundred Adena.

You can choose to return to town every time you get forty heads or you can just pick up the heads and drop them in the trash can in the bottom right hand cornet of your inventory and keep collecting totems. Do this until you reach fourteen and then get new skills, wind strike and ice bolt being the most important.

All right young cucumber, you have reached fifteen time to make a little cash. First talk to Urutu Chief Hatos, he is located up the ramp near Livina. Get the quest from him and head out to just above the cave of trials. Above the cave of trials is a bridge, directly across from the bridge is a hill, go up to levels of the hill and you will be at the spawn point for the Baranka Messenger. He takes five minutes to spawn after he has been killed so if he isn’t there just wait, he will reappear soon.

Take the message back to Hatos in town and repeat the process two more times. After you have done this all three times you will get what is called “Butcher’s sword or Sword of Butcher”. Yes, I know, a horrible name, more then likely a mistranslation. Take the sword and sell it, this will give you some more cash to get what you need.

The next moneymaking task is to collect Kasha bear Parasites and more Maraku Wolfmen totems. Talk to Seer Tanapi, across from Seer Livina and accept the quest, also get the quest from Brukuse for hunting the Maraku wolfmen. Now if you have some running shoes, or maybe a bike or even a skateboard, get it out, you have some more traveling to do.

Now run to the frozen waterfall on your map and go south off the main road, there you will find Kasha bears and Maraku wolfmen chieftains. Beware that both of these will attack you and will help their kin. Kill them and when you have fifty Parasites you can return to town for five thousand two hundred Adena. If you want to make your return trips shorter, pick up a scroll of escape from the magic shop, those will teleport you to town right away.

Ok jolly green giant, time for the last five levels. You have some choices here, you can go back to killing Maraku Wolfmen and Kasha bears until you hit twenty making money along the way or you can head to the cave of trials and kill what’s in there. Either way, if you get really bored and are ready to leave the island, though I recommend waiting until level twenty, you can talk to Gatekeeper Tamil and teleport to Gludin.

If you want to make your trip even shorter and you happen to have two thousand five hundred to spend then talk to the Gatekeeper there and warp to Gludio.

Talk to Trader Herbtien on the right and get the quest to collect spore sacks.

After you have finished farming money head to the crossroads and form a team. Get two tanks around your level by shouting out in the all channel that you are looking.

Once you have formed a team head to the west over the bridge to what is called the Neutral Area, the area between the Dark Elves and the Elf's. Here you will find Scavenger Wererats and Arachevils and Lyconthropes. The Wererats won’t attack you but the Arachevil and Lycanthropes on the other hand will and the Arachevil has poison, which can be a real pain, make sure you have cure poison 1.

Well green bean, it’s been one long journey together, and I will miss you and your silent green attitude, but you were a great learner. Welcome to level twenty and enjoy your time in Aden. Don’t forget to go to go home to get your profession change and pick up new skills. See you around and don’t go changing.

When on Elmore, on the orc side you can find them by the forzen waterfall, to the southwest a bit.
• Slugs as I call them, or Mist Leeches as the game names them, can be found in the misty swamp of Cruma Tower. Watch out though, there are mist horror’s in there that will eat you quick.
• Golems, they can be found around the dark elf territory with the bats. When on Elmore, on the orc side you can find them by the forzen waterfall, to the southwest a bit.
• Liriens are excellent prey, very slow moving, found in elf land.
• In general, anything that is slow moving can be kited with efficiency

Fighter Guide Tips (Lineage warcry)

Writing this guide while waiting for the OB =)

Do the first quest immediatly and start leveling right outside your city walls, venture further away from the city (the opposite direction of your starting temple).

Fight things that you kill easily and have little to no down time. Get quests to kill certain mobs and stick with them. No need to kill anything else since you won't get a reward for that.

Get a bow, pull and fire 2-3 arrows, then pull out your melee gear and start swinging. When the creature is low on hp hit it with a special attack (have to be lvl 5) You will Over-Hit and get more xp than normal.

When your lvl 5 talk to the trainer and leave the training window open (thanks to DragonX7 for this tip) It will save you time instead of running back and forth.

Buy weapon upgrades as soon as they are avaliable. But save for big armor upgrades, cause buying every set avaliable will drain your pocket quicker than the Red Light District in Amsterdam.

go to lin.warcry.com and look at the quest list there to get the quest that will get you the most Adena / cool items for your time.

After lvl 7-8 you will have to venture pretty far from town, dont be afraid to explore, because theres almost always mobs, and they don't aggro.

Find out what weopon you like and stick with it, don't waste skill points on other strikes/specials.

The relax skill is somewhat useful but dont over use it cause it seriously hampers your MP, try to keep your mp at the same level as your hp, and use normal sitting. If you fight easy mobs your mp will drop too quickly. If you fight hard mobs your HP will be alot lower than your MP.

Anyway good luck in the open beta and lets get atleast some prizes here =)

Lose Your Item After Death…No Problem..Look (Lineage 2 nude patch)

Ok, I was able to find numerous tricks in SWG, lets see if this one Pan's for L2.

Lose that Item after getting raped by 4 or 5 tough critters, I did, but I found a way to get it back, has only worked once so far for me.
Just as you get ready to go to the nearest Villiage take and spam the pickup button, there is a split second that you are actualy alive in the same spot. I know it's kind of far stretched but this did work for me once, who knows, maybe just a fluke. Let me know if you can get it to work for you.

Guide To Becoming An Elven Scout (Lineage 2 videos)

First thing is first, when you create your new elven character, you’ll want to talk with one of the Mothr Temps to get the first quest for a map. This quest is simple, and involves killing 4 keltirs. These are generally found right outside of where you start and should be fairly simple. Keep killing these until you hit level 4, and then Give the 4 fangs to one of the Mother Temps. They will give you a Leaf Of The Mothertree. Give this leaf to Nerupa, she is right there as well. After this you have a couple of choices.

First choice would be to talk to the grandmaster (Looks like she has a big butterfly or something coming out of her back), and she will have a few smaller quests for you which will net you some quick XP, and Adena, and involves running things from one NPC to another. This can be boring, but it helps with the Adena, and XP.
Quest 1: http://l2orphus.com/quests.php?id=160
Quest 2: http://l2orphus.com/quests.php?id=161
Quest 3: http://l2orphus.com/quests.php?id=2
This will net you 2000xp, and almost 1000 Adena.

Second Choice would be to immediately go back out and start killing everything you can see within close proximity of the village. This would include Keltirs, Red Keltirs, Goblin Raiders and such. I would cross any bridges or wonder to far till your about level 7.

Once you hit 7-8, you should have enough money saved up for at least a short bow, if not something slightly better. You should also have enough Adena for basic armor as this will be needed.

Go to the south east exit of village, and you will cross a bridge. Over this bridge will be more goblin raiders, Kaboo Orcs, and Dryads. Stay away from the dryads till you feel comfortable killing the kaboo orcs as they are a little more powerfull. Continue to fight Kaboo Orcs, until your level 8-9.

Once you hit 8 (easier when 9), you can visit the magic shop in the elven village. Once there talk to Trader Herbiel. Once you take this quest, you will want to run to either the south east exit (cross the two bridges), or the south west exit, and follow the road till it forks. At the fork, go left. Keep going straight and when you cross the bridge, go SE (or left) into the fields to kill Spore Fungus. When you get a spore, it should make a ding sound. Once you have 10 sacs, return to the trade for 2k Adena. I Would strongly suggest doing this a lot to save up for better bow, and armor. Its not uncommon for people to do this quest for hours on end for days at a time.

The next quest you will want to do when you hit level 10, is Skirmish with the Orcs, This one is pretty simple, since you technically only have to kill 2 orcs, and finding them can be difficult. For this I provide you this link which should cover it.
Skirmish with the Orcs Quest: http://l2orphus.com/quests.php?id=105

Once you hit level 12, Try to get the hunting bow as this will make your life ohh so much easier. This bow costs about 65k in shop, or around 40-50k from a player selling item. There are now a bunch of quests ready to be taken. A lot of weapons that you wont be using, but they sell for 15k, so its defiantly worth your time.
Quest 1: http://l2orphus.com/quests.php?id=163
Quest 2: http://l2orphus.com/quests.php?id=162
Quest 3: http://l2orphus.com/quests.php?id=102
Quest 4: http://l2orphus.com/quests.php?id=159

After you have saved up, I would personally suggest farming the spore quest for a while till you can get enough for a composition bow. I know this is really repetitive, but trust me, in the long run its so worth it. Plus this will help you level from 16-20 in a few hours.

I would strongly suggest staying in this area around the elven fortress (where you have been hunting spores) till your at least 15-16, the fortress is also a great spot for XP if you can get into a good group, but at the same time it can be a death trap.

Ok, so now you have Composition Bow, and your level 16. Lets stock up on supplies. Go back to elven village, and get about 1200 arrows, and buy about 500-1000 soul shots from the Magic Shop.

Ok, good. Lets head out and level! Take the south west exit, and follow the road way out. Keep going straight at the fork. This road is pretty long, and at this point will be your furthest travel spot. Keep going, and you will start to see spiders (Hook Spiders, Pincer Spiders, Ect..). You will also come to a bridge, but don’t cross it. We want to go to our right and start hunting lireins. These are blue slow moving mobs with about 500 hp. I always start of with a soulshot (Open inventory, and drag the icon for soulshot to your quickbar, and then just click it once to load one into the bow. Soulshots do double damage. You can use more, but it will cost you more in the long run.) and then kite like crazy. When I say kite, this simply means shoot, run, shoot run. Because these move so slow, they have no chance of catching you as long as you shoot and then run. Be warned that these are agro, so you need to watch where you’re going. Regular Lireins will give about 588 xp, while elders should give closer to 650. I would stay here to not only get a lot of loot/Adena, but to level to 20. I was here for 2 days (about 4 hours each day) to make it to 20.

Once you hit level 20 (you can start at 19, but id wait for 20), you can start your quest for scout. Follow this guide => http://l2orphus.com/quests.php?id=407 to become a scout.

I hope this guide has been usefull to you.

Elven Guide To Leveling 1-20 (Lineage 2 leveling)

Welcome to the world of Aden. I will be your guide through your travel from level one to twenty. I will help you to become the greatest fighter in Aden by helping you find key quests, shops, and leveling spots. First you should go through the short but very important guide at the beginning of your adventurer. Now go, be guided, with haste fair one.

Back? Great, let’s get you started on the road to twenty.

Next talk to one of the Mother temps and get the quest from them to collect fangs.

Level six already? Awesome, go back to the Mother Temps and talk to one of them, they will tell you to talk to Nerupa, the weird spider looking lady in the center of the semicircle the Mothers. Talk to her, trust me, she won’t bite…not until she has wrapped you up in her web! Once you have received your map from Nerupa head up the bridge behind you.

This is the Elven village and everything you need is close and simple to find. First to your right is the weapon shop and to your left is storage and beyond that the skill building. Head to the south wall and enter the building there, this is the skill building where you can learn different skills from attacks to defensive or offensive spells. This is where you need to decide what kind of fighter you want to be; there are four choices, sword, dagger, bow, or bow/melee hybrid. I highly recommend the hybrid because you can get the attack power shot and use it to do a huge amount of damage to your target. Once the creature gets upon you switch to your melee weapon by use of keys.

In any case, if you chose fighter get Rest and Power strike. If you are a bow user get Power shot and Rest. Last but not least, if you are using a dagger get Mortal blow and Rest, either way you want Rest. In the case you went hybrid then you will want Power strike and Power shot not to mention rest if you have enough SP.

Once you have decided on what kind of fighter to be leave the shop and go to the north exit. On the left will be the weapon shop, enter and buy the weapon of your chosen skills. Buy the eight hundred and eighty three Adena weapon and bow if you decided to do hybrid. Now buy some armor, the basic stuff and arrows if you need them. You are now armed to slaughter some orcs!

Leave town out the Southwest exit and head northwest and begin killing gray wolves, Kaboo orc grunts, kaboo orcs, goblin raiders, and green dryads. Beware that all the previously listed monsters will help their brothers aside from the gray wolfs. Now don’t worry about soiling your beautiful hands, you must get dirty to get anywhere, get used to blood and the unpleasantries of life fair one.

You weapon just not cutting as well as it used to? Reach the half waypoint of level ten? I’ve got the fix for you then!

Return to Sentinel Kendnell and you will receive Red Sunset Sword, a very nice weapon for that level. Now it’s time to get some more levels by tackling some eight-legged freaks and some floating beauties. Make your way to the crossroads and form a team of one healer and two tanks by shouting out in the all channel that you are looking for a healer and another tank around your level.

Now kill like mad until you reach fifteen and make sure to watch for a Bow of Forest off of the Hook spiders, it’s a one-hundred and fifty-thousand Adena weapon and very useful. Level here until you hit level twelve then head back to town for another quest.

Return to Sentinel Knight Alberryus to receive your reward, a Sentinel Sword.

If you want there are two other quests to pick up for a bone shield and a leather shirt though they require a lot more work then the sword quests.

The Wererats won’t attack you but Arachevil and Lycanthropes on the other hand will and the Arachevil has poison, which can be a real pain, make sure your healer has cure poison 1.

Dwarven Guide To Leveling 1-20 (Lineage 2 clans)

Welcome to the world of L2, I will be Dwarven Guide to Level Twenty. I will inform you of the best leveling spots, quests, skills, and key shops. First you should go through the game’s helpful but limited tutorial to learn about the cameras and speaking to NPC’s and all that gibberish. I’ll wait here while you do that, now go, quickly Daniel son.

Back? Ok, first strap on your Guild members club, as it will be the killing tool of choice for the moment and the most effective you have unless you have some friends. Now, speak to Miner Maron (located on the NE side of the starting area) to receive the beginner's map quest.

Next step is to kill the little wolf guys near by until level four while collecting the fangs Maron asked you to get. You should see after one or two kills "Earned a Nepitir Fang" in the system notice area, which means you have gained a quest item. Once you reach level four head back to Maron and he will give you a map and a miner’s license. Up in the right hand corner is a compass, go to the yellow dot on it and talk to Foremen Laferon.

Now that you have done that boring step lets get back to creating blood spray! To reach level five follow the path out of the starting area and take a right the first chance you get. There you will kill Elder Keltirs, don’t worry about dying at this point, before level five you don’t lose any XP so just whack the crap out of the elders until you drop dead or hit five. If you die just go south from where you spawn and out the gates of the town, that will take you back to where you just were, kill elders until you reach five.

Once you have reached five head into town to the north and follow the road through town, you will see a large water tower structure on your left, right after that on your left will be the weapon/armor shop. Enter the shop and talk to one of the two people in there, buy an Eight-hundred and Eight Adena club or sword as they will kill the quickest. If you don’t have the money for a weapon don’t sweet it, grab some armor, the lowest boot, pants, shirt, gloves and helmet.

As you leave the shop to your left is the blacksmith’s shop. Head in and say hi to him, as he will be your friend for a long time. He will teach you skills and later on help you craft weapons. For now tell him you would like to learn some skills from him. Now this is where you have a real choice to make, moneymaker at ten or damage and armor. See, at ten you will get the option to get two skills called Spoil and sweep. These skills are imperative to find lots of craft items and the occasional pieces of armor. The problem is you must have both skills, or someone using one while you use the other, and the real predicament is that both skills cost 1100 Skill points (SP) each. So if you want those then save your SP and get them around level ten or eleven. Even if you don’t get them now you can always get them later and you will get SP faster after level ten. I would recommend skipping the skills and getting weapon mastery then armor mastery but I had to let you know about those two nice skills.

After you have decided on what you are going to do skill wise step out of the blacksmith shop and directly across and to the left a bit is a Marife Redbonnet standing next to a building surrounded by a fence. Talk to her and tell her you will kill the dark wolves, now head north out the gate and follow the road around the hillside. Follow the path to where it starts to go up an incline, go to the top of the incline and run off the edge to the valley below, there you will stick to the left side of the wall. You should find a bunch of dark wolves standing along the hillside.

Now these are going to hit a little harder then the things you were killing before and you may have to sit after every 4th one or so, depending on weapons and armor. A way to make sure you don’t die and go back to town is always have your options window open and if you start to die hit restart game and you will be exited right away. This will save you the time of running clear from town to the wolves. Kill the dark wolves until you collect 40 pelts and level 6, then head southwest to the road and follow it up the hill to the town. Marife Redbonnet is on your left behind the fence right after you enter town, talk to her and gets your reward. Now here is where things are going to change a bit, if you are lucky you get a pearl as a reward, which sells for 5k, if not you will either get a mirror worth 500 Adena, a necklace worth 360a, or a hair pin worth 100a. If you were lucky enough to receive a pearl purchase a better helmet, boots and gloves, and maybe a short bow and some arrows for some nice XP later but don’t spend too much, you know what they say, don’t spend all your money in one place.

Next, if you received the pearl, head out of the weapons shop and got right up the road, keep going until you see a round building to your left, it will be sitting on top of a hill. Behind that building, to the left is where you can find the Magic shop. Enter the shop and buy some much-needed lesser healing potions. If you got any of the other rewards skip on armor for now and head out to the magic shop and purchase some healing potions as well.

After buying potions leave the shop and go into the building to your right. Inside you will see what looks like the seven dwarfs from snow white, kind of, but they have different personalities by far. Talk to Elder Spiron, he’s stingy dwarf, he will give you a quest to collect goblin brigade necklaces, accept it but don’t expect much of a reward, just a little Adena, but worth it none the less. Now find Elder Filaur, he isn’t as stingy as Sipon but requires a little more work out of you. He’ll want you to collect ore and map fragments from some orcs in the old coal mine. The real pay off is in the maps with this one.

Now, leave the elders and head down the hill and look for the weapons shop on your left, stop in front of there. Here’s the real choice, how much time do you want to spend thwacking the crap out of wolfs for pelts and money? If you really want money for better weapons and items then do the Redbonnet quest over and over until your eyes melt out of your skull. If you are ready to proceed to leveling the head across from the weapons shop and out the gate.

Follow the road across the bridge and don’t take any turns, just stay on the road. At the end of the road you will find an abandoned coalmine, the first Dwarf dungeon. Just inside the entrance you should see what would remind you of that old beefy football player from high school who used to dump kids in the trash, those are utuku orcs. The orcs are social, meaning that if they are within a certain radius of each of when one is attacked they will come to the others aid. Lucky for you, like the foot ball players they are slow and can be out run if you start to die or get one too many. If you get two and you know you are going to die run with enough health to take a blow or two as you flee. Pass the orcs in the entrance up and head through the tunnel to the first large room.

Here you should see goblin brigades, orcs, and black timber wolfs. Goblins are social just like orcs so be careful not to attack them when they are close to each other. If you bought a bow you can use this to shoot a target to pull it to you, doing a good amount of damage to it at the same time. You can also learn the art of run and shoot where you run from the target and shoot it before it attacks you. The orcs are slow enough you can do the run and shoot on them very effectively without any down time for you to heal. As you kill the orcs and goblins you will find ore and goblin necklaces, you should see the message "Earned a goblin necklace" this means you have gained a quest item.

Continue to kill the orcs and goblins until you level or it becomes hard to get kills because of people. On the NE side of that room is another tunnel, follow that deeper into the mine and into a larger room. You will now see werewolf’s as well as orcs but the goblin population in this room is none existent thanks to the werewolf’s undying hunger. The werewolf’s are social just like the orcs and goblins so be weary of other monsters. The orcs have a powerful friend amongst them in here, the orc archer, watch out for those bad boys because they hit hard and will no doubt send you to your death with six or seven arrows sticking out your butt. They are hard to out run because of their range and will assist their fellow comrades so be watchful of them. Pick off the orcs until you reach level ten, now this may take a while but it is faster because as you go the down time between these and the other monster you could be fighting is a lot less.

If you get sick of orcs you can head to the east wall and up the long tunnel to a room with blade bats, magical weavers, goblin lords and gemstone beasts. I only recommend killing the weavers as the bats hit hard from time to time and the goblin lord will be a beautiful reddish color to you or possibly yellow. Everything in this room is social aside from the gemstone beasts so watch out for additional monsters, or adds as they are called. If you happen to have a bow you can take anything in this room aside from the gemstone beast, though the goblin lord will give you a run for your XP. The bats are incredibly slow and can be taken down with the run and shoot move very easily not to mention they give good XP. It is best not to team if you have a bow since you will be leveling faster without a team because XP in team is split and you kill fast with no down time with a bow. If you don’t happen to have a bow then find one or maybe two people to team with and kill weavers with unless you prefer to solo.

Now if you want there is a tunnel to the west that will lead you down a long bridge. Follow the bridge and don’t take any turns but watch out on the end to the right there are goblin brigade sub leaders, we will learn a little bit more about them later, but they will attack you if they see you so try to stay away from them. If you get one on you and have a bow you can kill it by running and shooting or you can just choose to out run it. Run straight off the bridge and up the tunnel, if you have any brigade sub leaders on you just keep moving. Use your right click and hold to adjust the camera so you can see the top of the tunnel as you go up so you can click up there and keep moving without stopping. You should be able to ditch the sub leader on your way up the tunnel, if not when you reach the top you will enter a large room with weavers, gem stone beasts and bats everywhere. There should be people here killing run around shouting for help if you need it and someone should come to your aid. This room, the before where the goblin lord was, and the room with the orcs and werewolf’s are going to be your fastest way to ten, our target level at the moment.

Now that you have reached ten go back into town and sell anything you have collected as far as recipes go aside from coke. Any recipes you have found will take a load of things to make and you can always buy one later of a player if you want to make it, they will always be out there. If you found a cedar staff head or a cedar staff it’s self you have scored, you may have even found a mace off a gemstone beast. What to do now if hold onto the cedar staff and use it as a weapon, it is awesome and you will get far with it. As far as the cedar staff heads go it is your choice to sell them to the shop or hold onto them until you have the recipe and all the stuff needed to make one. I myself sold mine and purchased the wooden armor in the shop.

After you have sold your bounty head out of the weapons shop and head left towards the north gate out of town, the last building on the left will have a man inside name collector group, talk to him and get the quest he has to offer. Return to the weapon shop and talk to trader Reep, and then he will tell you to talk to Carrier Toroceo, go out and up the hill to the right. As you reach the top of the hill on your right will be the warehouse, go to the left side of the warehouse and find your way behind. Talk to Carrier Toroceo and head back out to the main road.

Go south up the road and out of town, follow the road back through a chasm and talk to Miner Maron, he is the guy you got your map quest from in the beginning. He will be to the right side of the area standing in front of a large tower like structure. Head back to town after you have talked to him and run north past the weapon shop, between the weapon shop and collector group’s place is the Blacksmith's shop, talk to Blacksmith Bronp and get the quest to retrieve his gems for him.

Head back to the mine and to the room with the werewolf’s and orcs, on the left side of the room is a ramp that leads into another room where there are a lot of sub brigade leaders. These will attack you and are social so be careful when you attack them. The fast way is to pull the one that stands on the mound just inside the room. You can do this two ways, walk up to him until he attacks you and then run back a little and beat him to death. Or you can shoot him with the bow and run back down the tunnel shooting and running into the werewolf/orc room until you kill him.

When you kill the sub brigade leaders you will receive a message saying you have received as Chrysolberry or an Aquamarine or both. Do these quests until you have collected ten of each; you should hear a bell sound when you have. Run back to town and talk to the black smith, his building is to the right of the weapon shop when you enter town. Talk to him and he will give you a gem box. Take the gem box back to collector group. Group tells you the gem box contains coal. Return to the black smith and he will give you a letter. Take the letter and head back to the warehouse to the south. Talk to warehouse keeper Murphrin and he will give you a treat to give to warehouse keeper Airy who will give you a bat schismatic. Take a breath, almost done with this. Head back to the mine and kill blade bats until you get a star diamond, this will be very easy with a bow, a little tougher for you will clubs or swords still. Now the drop rate on the gem is random, you may get it first kill, or second, or tenth, all luck.

Once you have collected the gem head back to collector group in town and give him the gem, he will in return give you a great weapon. Now, if you have cedar staffs sell the hammer to the store for 12k or try to sell it to a player through a private store for 13-16k. If you didn’t get a staff meet you new weapon of doom! Now that you have finished the hammer quest head to the weapon shop and grab some new gear if you have the money, wooden armor, a full set adds to max life. Make sure to save 3k because that will be your ticket out of here. Once you are ready to leave this cold dull place head out of the weapon shop and go south up the hill, there you will see a women in red named Gatekeeper Wirphy, talk to her and teleport to the town of Gludin.

Now that you are in Gludin dust off your jogging shoes and pick up a world map from a player or a shop. The shop will be off to the left side of town near the east gate exit. If you have enough Adena and want to move along faster you can talk to Gate keeper Belledonna and have her warp you to Gludio castle town. If you don’t have the money head out the South gate and follow the road, checking you map to make sure you are heading towards the town of Gludio. Make sure to stay on the road and watch out for monsters along the side as they will attack you.

Once you reach Gludio go through and out the east exit. Checking your map will reveal a large river to the East that runs north to south. This is a highway for many people because in the water you are safe from creatures as most of them will be a good distance from the water's edge. Run into the water and head north until you come to a bridge that crosses the river. Get out of the water and watch out for Lireins and Lirien Ribes, they are transparent floating women along the shore.

Check your map and follow the road the leads NE to the next bridge. The road that continues north off this bridge will lead you to the Elves village, follow it. You will come to a crossroads at one point as you near the village. Take note that this is what people mean when they say to meet at the crossroads and that this is also a major travel point. To the East you have the Elf village, to the South the Elf Fortress (check your map), and to the west you have the spider fields.

Then return to town and give them to the trader for a reward of 2k Adena.

You can repeat this quest as much as you want and buy some new armor for yourself. Though I recommend sticking with the wooden armor for the life bonus and defense bonus, plus the stuff you can buy in this town that is above it only offers a tiny bit more defense and now life bonus. After you have finished farming money head to the crossroads and form a team of one healer and two tanks by shouting out in the all channel that you are looking for a healer and another tank around your level.

Once you have formed a team head back to the West to the spider fields. Now, the first thing you need to know is that Hook spiders will not attack you, Crimson Spiders will, as well the random Liriens but all are social so be careful how you pull. Its best if you use your bow to pull Liriens out of groups of spiders and vice versa. Now kill like mad until you reach fifteen and make sure to watch for a Bow of Forest off of the Hook spiders, it’s a 150k Adena weapon and very useful for you.

Now that you have reached level fifteen, head west down the road and hop back into the river, and follow it down to Gludio. In Gludio on the West side you will find a black smith who will teach you the skills you need. Make sure to grab the Spoil and Sweep skills if you don’t have them at this point, it is highly recommended. Also fill up on Weapon mastery and armor mastery. Remember this place well, as it is where you will come on main land to get new skills and later on better weapons.

Head back to the crossroad and pick up another team around your level unless you happen to have one. Head to the west over the bridge to what is called the Neutral Area, the area between the Dark Elves and the Elves Here you will find Scavenger Wererats and Arachevils and Lyconthropes. The Wererats won’t attack you and you can spoil them before you begin your assault on them. The Arachevil and Lycanthropes on the other hand will attack you and the Arachevil has poison which can be a real pain, make sure your healer has cure poison 1.

Now that you have reached level twenty let me give you a big congratulations and a job well done. It’s been a pleasure and I hope you enjoy your travels from here on in. Make sure to spoil and sweep your kills to make that extra buck and never forget that friendship is always the key to succeeding in the end.

Dwarf Artisan - A Guide To Getting Rich (Lineage 2 reviews)

So you've leveled your dwarf to the illustrious Level 20, I salute you! Grinding a dwarf from 1-20 is more difficult than any other race, due to the lack of any special combat skills. However, the wait is well worth it, as you can become EXTREMELY rich as a Dwarf by knowing WHAT to hunt and WHERE to hunt. This is a first revision of the Dwarf Artisan Guide.

The first thing you need to ensure you do is learn the "Crystallize" skill from your local blacksmith. This will allow you to "crystallize" D Grade items, which will allow you to create Soulshots and Spiritshots. Crafting/selling these two items can help make your bank account overflow if done correctly. Most artisans don't take the time to fill up their warehouse with the items they'll need to get rich, and even more importantly don't look for D Grade Item deals which will greatly increase their profits.

SOULSHOT PROFITS
==================================================

Here is a typical scenario of how a Dwarf Artisan will create Soulshots/attempt to sell them via a private store.

1. Dwarf buys 1 pair of Excellence Leather Gloves from Local Store at full retail price (approximately 25,100 in Dion Weapon Shop).
2. Dwarf crystallizes this item, and receives 38 Grade D Crystals.
3. Dwarf purchases 38 "Soul Ore" from local magic shop to combine with a single crystal to create 100 D Grade Soulshots at a cost of 310 Adena per Soul Ore.

Now let's take a look at the profit this dwarf would make going the standard soulshot crafting route using all 38 D crystals:

Costs:
1 Pair Excellence Gloves: 25,100 Adena
38 Soul Ore: 11400 Adena
===============================
Total: 36500 Adena

Yield:
3800 D Grade Soulshots
===============================
Selling Price Total (11a each): 41800 Adena

(Yield - Costs) = Profit
(41800-36500)= 5300 Adena profit

Not too shabby, but by actually crafting your OWN gloves you'll be able to increase your profit to the following:
(41800-11400) = 30,400 Adena profit

In addition if you make a trip to the town of Oren you'll be able to purchase the Soul Ore for only 270 Adena a piece, further increasing your profit:

(41800-10260) = 31,540 Adena profit

Also keep in mind, if you sell your wares near the town of Oren, you can typically sell your D grade soulshots at 14-15a a piece. It is worth the expense to players in these areas, as the walk back to Dion/Giran is quite a distance. So taking advantage of all the tips above, and combined with the higher selling price it is quite easy to make a 46740 Adena profit off of EACH batch of soulshots you sell (57000-10260)! That's over 900% more than the average dwarf makes creating soulshots.

MAKING YOUR OWN EXCELLENCE LEATHER GLOVES
=======================

Here is the recipe to create a pair of excellence leather gloves. Keep in mind you only need ONE recipe to craft an unlimited amount of gloves.

4 Excellence Leather Glove Linings
8 Pieces of Leather
1 High Grade Suede
1 Gemstone D

Here are some details on ALL of the items you'll need to begin creating your Excellence Leather Gloves…..which allow you to create the all important crystals you'll need to start your thriving Soulshot business.

*1 Leather Recipe*

You can create leather by fusing together 8 pieces of animal skin. By level 20 you should have well over 200 animal skins in your inventory. If you don't, just create a Private "Buy" Store and offer about 100a per skin. You'll be amazed at how many skins people will sell you just in 30 minutes. So, for 1 pair of gloves you'll need 8 pieces of leather, or 48 animal skins. Not as much as it sounds!

*1 Coarse Bone Powder Recipe*

To create a "High Grade Suede" you'll need a batch of bone powder. Bone powder is made from 10 animal bones, and again you should have a few hundred animal bones by the time you hit level 20. So you should already have plenty in your inventory. Again, same rule applies here in terms of a private store if for whatever reason you don't have any animal bones. Just set up a shop and buy some.

*1 High Grade Suede Recipe*

To create High Grade Suede you'll need 3 pieces of suede (you'll have 50+ by level 20) and 1 batch of bone powder.

*1 Gemstone D*

These can be purchased for 1000-1300 Adena depending on the magic shop/town. They sell for 1000 Adena in the town of Oren.

I strongly suggest all level 20+ dwarves focus solely on crafting Excellence Leather Gloves. By the time you hit level 20, you should have enough animal skins/suede and bone to give you 90% of what you need to craft 5 or 6 pairs of leather gloves, giving you a quick profit of 180 - 240k from level 20-21……purely on materials sold. This does not include the extra coin you'll make farming for Excellence Leather Glove Lining. All in all, if done correctly you could net over 600k in just 2 levels as an Artisan.

*4 Excellence Leather Glove Linings*

You'll want to hunt Specters at the Execution Ground just East of Dion Castle Town to obtain these Linings. They drop at a very high rate (around 10-12%) from this mob, so focus solely on them. Ideally, before you set out on the hunt solo or with some other folks ensure that YOU will be the only one receiving these linings. If you're with strangers, offer then 300a a piece for each lining BEFORE setting out for the area.

Specters are located in the northern portion of the Execution Grounds, so you'll want to enter the area via the Northern entrance (take the N road out of Dion). Level your dwarf solely on these mobs from level 20-25, and you can have upwards of 100 Excellence Leather Glove Linings in just 5 levels. This will make you an enormous profit in the long run.

100 Leather Glove Linings = 25 Pairs of Gloves = 950 Crystals

So at the maximum profit of 47,600 Adena per batch of 38 crystals, by Level 25 you could easily obtain over 1.1 million Adena in profit NOT COUNTING the 500-600k Adena you'll make while farming. This method will allow you to FULLY tweak out your Dwarf with High Level D Grade Armor and Weapons by only level 25!

Other Ways to Increase "In Game" Profits
==============================

For those lucky enough to have two computers (or able to run multiple clients on one machine), and willing to pay for a second account, you can make even more money. I've done this by having a second toon which is essentially my vendor. I am constantly setting up this vendor in a town to sell the soulshots I've made. While the vendor sells the soulshots, I am right back out farming again for more items I'll need to create more soulshots. Most dwarves craft the items/sit around and wait until they sell. This is a bad approach to being an Artisan, and will likely leave you frustrated and broke.

Plop down that extra 50 bucks for another copy of Lineage 2, and get a second vendor toon up and running. You won't be sorry!
