Dark Elven Mage Guide To Leveling 1-20 (Lineage 2 unlimited)

Welcome to the world of Aden. I will be your guide through your travel from level one to twenty. I will help you to become the most ruthless and evil mage in Aden by helping you find key quests, shops, and leveling spots. First you should go through the short but very important guide at the beginning of your adventurer. Now go, be guided, quickly dark one.

Back? Great, let’s get you started on the road to twenty. First off equip your rod and armor by hitting tab and right clicking on the armor and rod in there. Next go to the bottom right hand of your screen and click on the first button to the left. Go to the actions button under there and put Wind strike, attack, sit and pick up items and heal in your hot bar too the right of your screen. Place them in the following order:

• 1. Wind strike
• 2. Attack
• 3. Sit
• 4. Pick up items
• 5. Heal

To use those just hit the corresponding F key, for Wind strike F1, attack F2 and so on as you get more spells and what not.

Next talk to one of the Abyssals and get the quest from them to collect fangs. Now leave the building and head out to kills some Keltirs. Here is where you have to make a choice, how long to kill the little furry beasts. I recommend killing only Keltirs until level seven, though that may seem like a long grind and very repetitive, it’s worth it.

Killing only Keltirs, not young Keltirs or anything else, just the ones named Keltirs insures that you can keep on a steady path to seven without having to sit and heal. Also, by sticking to only Keltirs you get one SP per kill which is the case for anything around there after you hit level two. Since they are such low level it will take more and more kills to level but you will always get one SP so you build up a large SP pool by the time you hit seven. This will allow you to get some nice skills right away once you make it to town.

Seven already? You surprise me dark one, it is obvious the dark force flows strong in you. Return to the temple and talk to the Abyssal you received your quest from. Next talk to Mitrell to receive a map and fifty SP. Leave the temple and follow the road until it come to a Y, go left. This will take you into the underground city of the Dark Elves. In the center of town is a nice piece of artwork, a giant hand, which seems to have lightning or something similar, shooting out of it. If you are facing west and the hand is in front of you then the magic shop is to your right, the warehouse to your left, weapon shop on the other side of the hand to the left and the training room up the stair to the north.

Let’s start with your skill first oh great wearer of leather. Go to the north and up the stairs into the small room at the top. Talk to one of the trainers. Learn wind strike and ice bolt, which you will need to buy a book for from the magic shop. You will want to max both these skills out first, since the self heal you have will heal you well for a while.

As you level come back and get heal, cure poison 1, you will need that later, and the defensive skills. Next buy some armor from the armor shop and just save you money for now after that, watch for deals on armor from players by checking the shops and comparing their prices. Buy the basic armor and while in the weapon shop talk to Trader Paint and accept the quest he has to offer.

Your next step down the dark path is to head out the West side of town. Yes, yes, I know the light burns slightly and your eyes hurt, but you must get used to the light in order to conquer it. Go to your left and follow along the wall through a small passage to a large field full of slimy goblins, stinky imps and dirty ashen wolfs. These will be your victims for the next four levels so learn their movements well.

The green things that look like Joe Peshee are goblins and the things that look like your little brother with wings are imps and they will help their fellow kind should they be close when a battle begins; the ashen wolfs on the other hand only care for themselves.

Slay all the creatures you can and when you have fifty wolf claws head back into town to Trader Paint, on the right side as you enter town, in the weapon shop to collect your reward. You should receive some armor or Adena but in either case get the quest again and head back to the field to kill some more. Repeat this process until level ten and be proud of the stash of cash you should have.

All right, it’s now time for our first weapon quest. Return to town and go to the training room where you need to talk to Tetrarch Thifiell to receive the quest. Next go to the temple where you started at, it lies to the east of the village and talk to Abyssal Celebrant Kartia. Leave the temple and run through the Dark elf village stopping just outside the west gate.

Open your map and look for the Dark Elven Initiation Temple. That is where you need to go to find your targets. Your targets are Tumran Orc Brigands, you’ll know them when you see them, they look like football players, big, mean, greasy ugly things they are. They lay to the west of the Initiation Temple in a field but beware of the Stoppers in the area, they will attack you and eat your crispy looking butt. After you have the two parts you need head back to Abyssal Celebrant Kartia then run back to Tetrarch Thifiell in the magic shop for you reward of a eldritch dagger which you can sell for some nice cash.

Now to move onto another quest which will bring you even more power and money! Go to the magic shop on the Northeast side of town and speak with Trader Vollodos. He will ask you to collect fungus sacks, which will be no problem for you.

Back outside? Great…well not so great since it stings a little but you must endure. Follow the road until you see a single tower on the right from here go Northwest. Kill the Walking Fungus’s in the area and once you have collected ten sacks head back to get a reward of two thousand Adena. Repeat this until level eleven and if you get enough cash buy some new armor off other players or out of the shop, compare shop prices to player prices.

So dark one, you have reached eleven and are ready for your next weapon quest? Good, you are learning quickly. Return to town and talk to Blacksmith Karoyd in the weapon shop to receive the quest. Go back to the temple where you started and talk to Abyssal Celebrant Cecktinon and then return to the training room in the dark elf village where you will talk to Magister Harne. Now go to the School of Dark Arts and collect the ten bone fragments needed from Skeleton Hunters but beware they will attack you.

Now go back to Magister Harne in the training room and then head to Abyssal Celebrant Cecktinon in the temple where you started. After having talked to those two go to the swamp area Southwest of the village, or the dark splotch on your map. Kill zombies until you get a head but watch out for thinks around there that will attack you like the horrors. Finally return to Abyssal Celebrant Cecktinon and talk to him then back to Blacksmith Karoyd in the weapon shop to receive your reward of a bloodsaber.

So you have more cash? Super, lets hope you have new armor by now and maybe a staff or wand in any case lets return to killing, the path may seem short but it is still very long and dark. Head back to the swamp and kill Bailor Orcs, Blood Fungus, and Zombies until level fourteen. Once you hit level fourteen return to town for new skills then head back out until level fifteen.

First talk to Magister Vlasty in the training room. Then return to the swamp and kill Lesser Dark Horrors and Dark Horrors until you get a perfect skull. Then return to Magister Vlasty for your reward of bone gaiters, nice pair of pants, but beware, equipping them will cause you to lose your life bonus from your wooden armor.

Finally we can get into some constant slaughter. Return to the swamp and continue to kill until orcs and funguses and just keep moving farther away from the Dark elf village for better XP. If you want you can grab a team and head into the School of Dark Arts also known as Soda. There are other options as well if you don’t wish to hang out in dark elf area. Open your map and follow it past the swamp and to the Elven village, this is a leveling hot spot with players, a very active dungeon and some abundant out door mobs.

Once you have formed a team at the crossroads below the elven village head west to the spider fields. Now, the first thing you need to know is that Hook spiders will not attack you, Crimson and Pincer Spiders will, as well the random Liriens but all are social so be careful how you pull. It’s best if you use your bow to pull Liriens out of groups of spiders and vice versa. Now kill like mad until you reach fifteen and make sure to watch for a Bow of Forest off of the Hook spiders, it’s a 150k Adena weapon and very useful for you.

Once you reach fourteen go back to you dark elf town and train new skills. Then return to the crossroads, make a new team and go to the west over the bridge to what is called the Neutral Area, the area between the Dark Elves and the Elf’s. Here you will find Scavenger Wererats and Arachevils and Lyconthropes. The Wererats won’t attack you but Arachevil and Lycanthropes on the other hand will and the Arachevil has poison, which can be a real pain, make sure you have cure poison 1. Watch out for the Lycanthropes, best just to stay away from them as they hit pretty hard.

All targets are social and after killing so many wererats you may get a wererat chief to spawn with a couple of buddies. I didn’t have enough guts to go see if they attack but lets treat them as if the do. If this place gets too boring for you, you can always head back to the elf fortress for levels or Soda, though as one Elf I know said, that place is the spawn of all evil.

Well, here we are, level twenty. Congratulations and don’t forget to head back to town to do your profession change now that you are twenty. It has been a great time, I hope to see you again in the future, good luck and safe travels.

KITING 101

So you have chosen the road of a kiter, cool. Now make sure you have learned how to use the camera effectively, such as facing yourself when you start a attack then clicking behind you to start running then hitting the wheel on your mouse to flip around to see what is chasing you. There really isn’t much to kiting, just that you make sure that you only kite creatures that are slower then you. It will take you time to kill all these creatures with kiting, but the SP and XP turn out is great.

Anyway, here is what you can kite to twenty easy.

• Any kind of Bat, very slow and found around dark elf territory and later for higher ones at the ruins below Gludio.
• Slugs as I call them, or Mist Leeches as the game names them, can be found in the misty swamp of Cruma Tower. Watch out though, there are mist horror’s in there that will eat you quick.
• Golems, they can be found around the dark elf territory with the bats.
• Liriens are excellent prey, very slow moving.
• In general, anything that is slow moving can be kited with efficiency

Great Guide To Go Assassin! (Lineage 2 classes)

Note this guide only details how to raise a fighter and make its way up to level 20 so you can obtain the fun loving assassin class. As a Fighter working to be an Assassin, your two weapons of choice are Dagger and Bow, as that is what the Assassins skills draw off of later! By the way, this is only for Dark Elves who pursue the Fighter career. I am breaking this down into a few sections, them being: Getting to level 20, the gear that you can have up to level 20, and the skills you will want to have by level 20. The actual quest for becoming an Assassin will be included with the walk to 20.

Create your lovely little fighter.

Load him/her up and orient yourself with the Dark Elf Village and Surrounding areas.

Since you start out in the Temple of Shilien you will need to speak with the Abyssal Celebrants to obtain your first quest. It’s not that hard of a quest. You are told to walk outside, kill a few keltirs and nephryts and return back to the Abyssal Celebrant who gave you the quest and you will receive blood of mitrael. Take this blood to Mitrael who is standing in front of the giant statue of Shilen (the dark elven goddess of death). Once you have spoken to Mitrael you will receive 500a and a World Map. Congrats first of many quests down.

You must be level 3 to start this quest! Your next quest of concern will be the Shilen Hunt quest. This quest has you fighting ashen wolves for not only exp but also their Dark Bezoars. Since you will be hunting these creatures for exp might as well make a little profit off it. Head towards the Dark Elven Village and speak with Sentry Nelsya, she will give you the quest. Walk back out to the killing fields and start grinding away on Ashen wolves until you have 13 Dark Bezoars. NOTE: You may stay out and finish off a level or two if you wish since the Ashen Wolves tend to stay white until level 4 or 5. Your reward for returning the 13 Dark Bezoars to Sentry Nelsya is 1900 exp and a Light Healing Potion. Grind away on Ashen Wolves and surrounding enemies until you reach level 5. At this point (level 5) refer to the skills section to see which skills you will want to take.

You must be level 5 to start this quest! Ok next you will want to enter the EAST and exit the WEST sides of the Dark Elven Village. On your way through the village do not forget to talk to Sentry Krpion, as he is the next quest giver you will want to talk to. The nice thing about this quest is that it is totally repeatable and can go on forever if you want it to. Sentry Krpion will send you out on a task to kill Imps and Imp Turens. Since you will be hunting these at this level it is nice to get an added bonus for killing them. Once you have the quest either follow the path to the west or follow the mountain south west to find imps. Every imp you kill has a chance of dropping a SHACKLE which is good for 5a each. Kill imps until level 8 and then turn in all the shackles to Sentry Krpion. Not much money but definitely worth it.

You must be level 8 to start this quest! Ok guys and gals, this is where you will really start to rake in your Adena. At 2000 Adena a pop, the fungus quest is the way to go while getting exp! The quests name is Trade With The Ivory Tower and it is initiated by speaking with Trader Vollodos (in the magic shop where the books are sold, he is behind the counter). Remember, this quest is repeatable so hack and slash away to get that money! Speaking with Vollodos, he will tell you he needs 10 Fungus Sacs. These can be obtained from Forest Walking Fungus which are surrounding the area of a small spire west of town and also from Blood Fungus which are farther down the path outside of the western exit. The blood fungus are mixed in with Orcs so watch out! Same old same old goes for this quest. Hack and slash your way through quest after quest and fungus after fungus to get that money and exp. Return the Fungus Sacs to Vollodos and get the quest again. Keep doing this quest until level 10. Once you hit level 10, return for some of that training!

You must be level 10 to start this quest! Recommended that you bring a scroll of escape for a major time save. Ok now we get into your first weapon quest. This is a must do for any Assassin want to be. The dagger given from this quest is a definite money saver. This quest is called The Forgotten Truth and it goes like this: Speak with Tetrarch Thifiell who is located in the Temple up the stairs in the Dark Elven City. You will receive an Onyx Talisman1 which you must give to Abyssal Celebrant Kartia (located in Temple of Shilen where you first came into the game as a Dark Elf). Kartia will in turn give you an Onyx Talisman2 and tell you to fight some orcs located near the Dark Elven Altar of Initiation. In this area there are many monsters, but the ones you must worry about the most are the Stoppers as they agro to you. Kill the orcs until they drop an ancient tablet and a scroll. This may take 5 minutes of killing all the way up to an hour. Use your Scroll of Escape and run from the Dark Elven City to the Temple of Shilen and give Kartia the Onyx Talisman2, the Scroll, and the Tablet. You will receive Kartia’s Translation. Return to Tetrarch Thifiell and receive your Eldritch Dagger!
Since money is definitely an issue in this game, return to doing the Fungus Sac quest until level 11.

You must be level 11 to do this quest! This quest isn’t essential but it is definitely worth the effort. You can make 12.6k (store value) all the way up to 19k (if sold to a player) easily off this weapon. So I listed it as a stepping stone to 20 only because of the gear potential. The quest is called Spirit of Craftsman and is given by the Dark Elven Blacksmith Karoyd located in the weapons shop. He will give you Karoyd’s Letter, which must be taken to Abyssal Celebrant Cecktinion located in the Temple of Shilen. He will give you Cecktinion’s Voucher1 which must be taken to Magister Harne. Harne will give you Cecktinion’s Voucher2. Now you must travel down the to School Of Dark Arts which is located easily on your map. At SoDa, you will need to hunt the entry room skeletons and the skeletons located down the ramps on the left and right side to get the 10 Bone Fragments needed for this quest. Use a Scroll of Escape, or run your little butt back, to Magister Harne and give him the 10 fragments, here you will receive a Soul Catcher. Run the Soul Catcher to Cecktinion and you will receive Preserve Oil. Run to the marsh, near the orcs and blood fungi and kill the Marsh Zombies and Marsh Zombie Pointers until you receive a Zombie Head. Return the Zombie Head to Cecktinion and you will receive Steelbenders Head, which should be promptly taken to Karoyd for your reward! Congratulations you just received a Bloodsaber. Sell it!

Just my personal preference, doesn’t have to be followed to the T since it gets very boring very quickly. Trader Minaless gives a quest out called Scent of Death which involves hunting Zombies for Zombie skin. Combined with the Fungus Sac quest, you can rake in 4000 Adena a trip. Trader Minaless is located right next to Trader Vollodos. As I said above, this can get very boring very quick, but it is what I did for quite awhile. You can also venture out to SoDa and get a group or hunt solo on the orcs. Its all a matter of personal preference. If it were me, I’d just do fungus and zombie quests till I was 15! Once you hit 15, return for some of that training I was talking about earlier.
You must be level 15 to do this quest! Ok, now for another one of them there item quests. This time its for a pair of Bone Gaiters. Magister Vlasty gives this quest. Simple quest at the most, head into the swamp and kill Lesser Dark Horrors and Dark horrors until you get a Perfect skull. Return the Perfect Skull back to Vlasty and bam you got yourself a pair of Pants.

Now you are in the home stretch with only 5 levels to go until 20. From here on out, Do as you see fit, but I recommend soloing the surrounding area of SoDa or grouping into SoDa. Of course though you can always do the Zombie and Fungus quests more for that lovely Adena.

Now for the quest to receive assassin class. You must be at least level 19 to start this quest, but it will not be completed until you are level 20. Ok here it goes, run or teleport to Gludio Village and find the Dark Elf guild, Triskel will be standing outside of it, speak to him. Triskel will give you a letter and send you on your way to the Altar of Initiation (where the orcs for the Eldritch dagger quest was) to speak with Arkenia. She in turn will send you to speak with Guard Leikan who is located in Gludin, about the matters at hand. Guard Leikan will tell you to go Hunt Moonstone Beasts, which are along the river North of Gludio, for their teeth, you need 10 of them. Return to Guard Leikan and then he will tell you about an orc named Calpico, who is located NW of SoDa. Calpico spawns with a few other orcs who will charge you when you attack him. How I did this part was Powershot from bow to calpico, a few more arrows will drop him, and then killed his two guards with my dagger. Easy stuff there. Return the potion you receive from Calpico to Arkenia at the altar. She will give you Arkenia’s letter which must be shown to Triskel back in Gludio. Once you have spoken to Triskel, speak with Grandmaster Tobias who is located in the building Triskel stands in. Congratulations you are now an Assassin! (only if you were level 20, if not return to Tobias upon completing leveling to 20 and become an Assassin then.)

SP Strategy - Interesting For Clan Leaders (Lineage 2 Server status)

Interesting tidbit of information for clan leaders.

As we all know, leveling down is absolutely horrible. However, for clan leaders there is actually a large benefit to leveling down at certain points in the game. Here is one such intance…..

I ran across a fellow in game who was constantly getting killed by a town guard (at least 20+ times as I was watching). I struck up a conversation with him, and he explained a few things to me….

1. You do not lose ANY skills gained while "leveling down". In other words, whatever skills you have learned at level 30, you would still have them if you leveled all the way down to 15.
2. You do lose your max HP/MP levels.
3. This is a common strategy on Korean servers by clan leaders to get the 500,000 SP you need to increase your clan's level to level 2 in the game.
4. You level up MUCH quicker after a significant "down leveling", since you retain your power from your higher levels. This makes leveling back up much easier than your first time around. In fact, many clan leaders repeat this process incessantly at higher clan levels in the game.

I tested this out by leveling one of my characters down to the most recent "new skill" level. (in this case 25 down to 23). And it's true, you do not lose ANY skills learned at previous levels, and I still did the same amount of damage I did at 25. No change whatsoever.

Logically, by leveling down to 15 or so, I could happily be killing Wyrms near Giran and earning 250+ SP per kill. Of course, you would need a ranged attack to accomplish this, going toe to toe with a level 35+ mob isn't a good idea. However with a fully functional Gastraphetes bow and a high level of bow mastery…….no problem at all.

I have a clan leader character whom I may retire soon, so I will likely try this out. This is confirmed as working thus far. Will update as soon as I get up the gall to level down my level 35 Dwarf.

Interesting information for all you clan leaders out there.

Good Leveling Tip For Level 30-40 DD And DoT'er (Lineage 2 Server status)

First off, goto the sea of spores. Once there, go find two types of mobs, Spore Zombies, and Rotting Golems. Have your DoT'er DoT them, then get your DD (If you're a scout-like class don't use a bow since golems have reduced damage against them) to hit it while the creep tries following the DoT'er at a very slow pace. The DoT'er could probably do this by his/her-self, but you take lots of damage if you are hit by these things (I was taking about 100-150 damage with 391 pdef). Also, you wont waste as much mana if the DD is beating them senseless while you sit somewhere. Finally, I made about 1200 xp and 95 SP per kill. In about an hour I made close to 20% xp (Which is good for level 33), got 40-50k Adena, and another 30k in items (Steel and Leather being the main ones dropped). To end this, just remember to stay away from the tarantulas that are out there. They caused problems for me and my friend while we were out there.

Pathing Exploits (Lineage 2 game card)

#1

On the 3rd floor of the coal mines, near the bat bridge, their is a room
with some reavers, blade bats, and wolf creatures. There is a reaver in the
middle of two boards laying on the floor near the far wall from where you
'just' first enter the room. Stand, look at the side of the reaver from the
middle of the room, 20 or so feet away, then start shooting it. It'll do a
small manatap spell, then stand there for the rest of the fight not reacting
at all.

#2

Near the Dark elfs and the elfs general area, by the initiate spot, theres a
waterfal on the map between the DE and E's spots. Its a mountain looking
to the swamp area on the map. If you go past the waterfall a bit
geared towards the left hand side, theres a pond of water, and a field of spiders
that spawn there. You can get the spiders to chase you, and also cave
basilisks that spawn there, run along the edge of the pond and they'll
glitch and fall in. It'll act as a wall, and you can sit there and
snipe them from afar.

#3

Enter EF and travel thru the first room, then at the next room go left at the
second hallway (there is 2 on the left and 2 on the right) all rooms are full
of orc fighters and leaders, in the center of the room of a panel on the floor
with a crack in it, stand in the exact center of that crack and none of the
orcs that spawn in that room will attack you. The is a geat room for AFK
macroing because of how close the enemies spawn.

The /loc is:
X: 25312.2
Y: 78177.9
Z: -4096.2

#4

At the execution grounds, granite golems are a fairly good target to pull
and try to run behind a fence or something. This is especially good for
casters, not really recommended for melee fighters since it bugs sometimes
and the golems somehow go through the fence, but superb for casters
and archers.

#5

There is a Lirien trapping exploit, i havent been able to test it yet unfortunatly.
I know people have been banned for trapping liriens but this is a different
spot and as far as im aware is not moniterd by GM's.
This is the Loc for the place where you trap them:

X: 2878.0
Y: 55515.9
Z: -3264.9

(This works best if you have an AoE spell)

#6

My favourite exploit for trapping enemies, this is so simple though i expect
it will be fixed soon.

Go to the sea of spores. If you are an archer or mage you can just attack the
creatures through the myst wall, and they cannot attack you. You can kill the
wyrms, giant funguses, etc… Great xp. Sea of spores is just north of the mother
tree. There is a spot just north of the mother tree where you can run over
the mountain and practically land right at the spot at the sea of spores.
And yes, any ranged attack will work. But be warned these creatures are
very high leveled, Wyrm is lv35 and the Funges' and Eyes are Lv40.

Remember that as of the current date these places are not known to be monitered
by GM's, but its always best to check around and keep an eye open for anyone.
Using these areas MAY get your account banned.

Shillien Knight How To Guide (Lineage 2 walker)

To start out this is my first tutorial that I post here. I just recently got back from Iraq and can now finally get back into gamming. Well anyway I got this off a korean site that took me a while to translate If something are a little off please tell me as some thing can get lost in my translation of the language.

This is a Guide for the second job change that takes place in Lineage 2. The first mission you must be level 35 to start it. The second you must be level 37 and the last you must be at leasat level 39.

QUEST WALKTHROUGH

1. TRIAL OF DUTY
You begin in Giran Castle Town with Grandmaster Hannavalt located in the Fighter's Guild. He then sends you to the southern area of Wasteland to meet Sir Aaron Tanford. Go to the southern area of Wasteland, where there is a small hut. In this place you can meet Sir Aaron Tanford. He gives you a quest sword and sends you to kill wasteland hill's skeletons and return with the item Knight's Tears. Now equip the sword he gave you and go to kill the skeleton. Once you kill it, Sir Harod's Dead Spirit comes out, kill it too. Once it is dead you get the quest item "Knight's Tears". Now take this back to Sir Aaron Tanford. When you return to Aaron with the Knight's Tears, he sends you to Dion Castle Town to meet Sir Kiel Nighthawk. Once you get to Dion Town, go to the Dark Elf Guild where you can find him. Sir Kiel Nighthawk sends you to Execution Ground to kill Strains and Ghouls and return with a Report. Like usual you will have to collect a quest item (Torn Report Piece). When you collect ten of them they will combine into one complete report. Once you give Kiel Nighthawk the Report, he gives you a different quest item Orphic Mirror and tells you to go kill the monster Hanged Man Ripper( looks like a giant tree) and return with the Tears of Repentance. Once you kill enough Hanged Man Rippers, Telianus's Dead Spirit will appear, slay it as well. You will then earn the Tears of Repentance. To finish the second part of the mission take the Tears of Repentance to Kiel Nighthawk. After you return to Sir Kiel Nighthawk, he will send you off to Hunter's Town to meet Isabel Silver Shadow. Once you get there she is located outside on the left half of the city. You must be at a minimum level 36 or she will ignore you. She will give you another quest to go kill Leto Lizardman which will give you a quest item Relic (need 20 before returning to her). You can find these Leto Lizardman if you follow the road to the right of Isabel and pass the cave area where the three roads meet, there should be mobs of Lizardmen there. Return to Isabel when you have 20 relics and part 3 of your journey will be complete. Once you return the 20 relics to Isabel, she will send you to Giran Town to find Testin the priest. He is located at the temple to the right of the gatekeeper. Once you reach him, he will send you back to the starting point of Giran to meet Grandmaster Hannavalt where he will give you the quest item Duty's Voucher.

2. TEST OF FAITH

At Giran Castle Town go to the DE Guild building and talk to Magister Kaira. She will tell you to go talk to Monk Metheus who is in the same city by the east exit. He tells you to go to Execution Ground and find his little sister's remains. To do this you have to hunt the monster Hanged Man Ripper again, you usually only have to kill one this time to get her remains. Return the remains to Metheus and he will tell you to go to Master Ixia in Dion Castle Town. Ixia will be in Dion's Dark Elf guild building. Ixia will tell you to collect 5 ingredients: Medusa's Blood, Swamp Spider's [bodily] fluid, Corpse Pursuer Bat's secretion, Tilunt/Tyrant's [bodily] fluid, and Nightshade’s root and you must collect 10 of each ingredient. You can find the Corpse Pursuer is at Execution Ground, Tyrant/Tilunt is in the Wasteland region, Nightshade root can be collected from the Staccatos at Cruma Swamp. First go to Wasteland and hunt the Head Tyrant and Tyrant to collect Tilunt/Tyrant's Sap. There are many mobs where the first part of the name is on the map is there are many aggressive monsters, so be careful. Go towards Cruma swamp and around the Tower itself, you should see the Marsh Stakato, Marsh Stakato Drone, Marsh Stakato Worker, and Marsh Stakato Fighter you can collect 10 of the Nightshade's Root from those mobs. In the same area as the Marsh Stakato's, you will see the Swamp Spider kill them to get 10 of the Swamp Spider's fluid. Go to the execution ground and kill the Dead Seeker from which you get Corpse Pursuer Bat's Secretion. Go to Giran next and exit thru the east entrance follow the road, until you can see Medusa, kill her to collect 10 of the quest item Medusa's Blood. Once you return to Ixia, she will make the quest item Belladonna. Which you must take it back to Monk Metheus in Giran. Metheus will give you the quest item Elder's Skull which you need to take back to Magister Kaira in the Dark Elf guild. Kaira will tell you to go find the elder's descendant Magister Roa at the Human Wizard guild in Giran. After talking to her go to Gludin Town and talk to the Warehouse Keeper Norman. He will give you a book as a quest item. Now you have to return to Kaira. Who will tell you to go to the Dark Elven Village and find High Tetrarch Thifiell. He will send you to go to Sorceress Akenia at the Dark Elf Initiation Altar. She will tell you collect the quest item Red Fairy Dust and Ti Mi Riran's Sap. To get those items you must talk to a bloody pixie and Ti Mi Riran. There should be some in the area surrounding the altar. Ti Mi Riran will ask you to kill Black Willow Lurker and the bloody pixie tells you it will give you the red fairy dust only if you kill the following: Grandis, Karul Bugbear, Breka Orc Warlord, Leto Lizardman. You can find the black willow lurker by the Swamps close to the DE village. The Breka Orc Warlord can be found in the Giran town area on the right side on the road to Dragon Valley. Once you collect the items from the pixie and Ti mi ran talk to the Akenia then go to the High Tetrarch Thifiell to get the final quest item, Fate's Voucher.

3. JUDGEMENT OF WITCHCRAFT

The quest begins at Dragon Valley with Orim. Orim will ask you to go collect 6 jewels and come back. First, go to Giran Castle Town and speak with the boutique store keeper Alexandria. Next, you have to go to the Mage's Guild and find Magister Iker.
Iker will want you to go collect the following: 20 Dire Wyrm's teeth, 20 Leto Lizardman's amulets, 20 Strengthened Iron Golem's stone heart. You can find the Iron Golems by the Ivory Tower, the Dire Wyrm by the Sea of Spores and the Leto Lizarman below Oren. Once you have collected these items she will give you the first jewel. Go to Gludin Village and talk to Trader Nestle. She will tell you to talk to Leopold in Gludin too. He will tell you to go to Wasteland and kill Skeleton Mercernary. Kill them so that you can get the last 3 jewels. Go find Orim again, he will tell you to go and get Crystal of Restraint and a Sealed Sword. If you go find Magister Iker again, you will give you the crystal. Now go to Gludin Village and talk to Sir Karrel Vasper, he will tell you to go to Oren Castle Town and find Badin at the Temple. Badin will then tell you to go collect 20 Tamrin Orc amulets. You can find them south of the road on the way to Hunter's Village, past the cave. Once you give Badin the amulets, you have to return to Vasper in Gludin. After talking to him you will return back to Orim in Dragon Valley to go kill Jejuel who is hidden in Fisherman Evert. He is at Floran Village. You have to seal Jejuel using the sealed sword. When you seal him , return to Orim to get the final voucher for the quest and complete it. You have just completed the last part to becoming a Shilen knight.

Human Wiz to Cleric (Lineage top 100)

Mystic to Cleric

1-7
Who likes Stone Golems!? Even at level one, you have a neato damage spell, wind strike. Kill a few keltirs and do the quest for a map and some sps that you get from a magister in the school of magic. That ll get you started. Now that you have a map, you will see a cool obelisk in the middle of TI. Head there. A bit North along the road, you ll see a field to your west with stone golems and crushers. They are around level 13-15 or so, so if they hit you with their wind strike spell that they have, it might hurt. To avoid this, stay close to them, but not too close to where they can melee you. Remember that using the few mp for that self heal is well worth walking back to the hunting grounds. You ll get the hang of this after a while. Now if you don t like the risky approach, you can also kill keltirs until level 4, and then kill toads near a bridge that is Southwest of TI village. Just follow the road and you ll be lead there. You can also pick up a fun quest for the toads from Warehouse Keeper Wliphrod at level 5. So those are your main two options until level 7. I suggest any drops you get other than Adena; you sell to a buyer in town. You ll need the Adena at your low level.

7-14
Well now you ve hit level seven, your first landmark. At this point you have two hunting options I suggest. #1 Keep with the golems. Get these skills first, Wind Strike level 3+4, then curse:poison, and last but not least, weapon mastery. The rest of the skills you can get in whichever order you wish. I know some of you are thinking, Why not icebolt? Well here s my answer, damage. Icebolt costs the same amount of mp and it slows. Golems are slow enough, so why use the lower damage version, ice bolt, and not the higher damage version, wind strike? So now you have a cool strong wind strike and curse:poison. Poison might not work well until a little higher level, due to the m. def. Of the golems. If you like to try, you can. Basically, you can just wind strike them to death until about level 10 or 11, then poison gets really useful on them. Also at level 10 you can get a quest for the golems. Talk to Magister Harrys for the info. Now that s option one. #2 Kill orcs and werewolves near the Obelisk. Now this plan needs a different approach, these fellas are fast. Skills for this plan go as following: Ice Bolt, Wind Strike, Weapon Mastery, Shield. The rest can be taken as wanted. Shield helps when they do hit you, it ll lower the amount of damage you do. Now since ice bolt slows, You will use the sequence Ice Bolt + Wind Strike + Back off and get distance because they re slowed by the ice bolt + Wind Strike + repeat until dead. You can also get a quest for some money around this time for orcs and werewolves from one of the guards, Gilbert. He will pay you to kill orcs and werewolves. You can do this all the way up to level 14. At some point you might want to do the quest called Spirit of Mirrors, you can find all of the info on the lin.warcry.com under the quests link.

14-20
Congratulations! You re getting somewhere now! Once again, I offer two hunting options around this time. #1 Keep killing golems until level 16 and then head to the mainland and get off this stinking island. TAKE THE BOAT!!! It takes 1/7 the amount of Adena and only takes about 30 minutes to ride. Hop aboard and go watch TV. Go to the Gludio Castle Town and then go south to Ruins of Despair(RoD). You can either do the same thing you did at low level with the golems to the zombies there, or you can kill skeletons in the fields out there using the technique that you use on orcs and werewolves shown above. If you go straight to zombies, get the skills wind strike, Vampiric Touch, and weapon mastery first. For skelies, get Ice Bolt, Wind Strike, Vampiric Touch, and then Weapon Mastery skills first. This should last you to level twenty fine. #2 Find a buddy, you ll need him! You can find a fighter buddy that likes Elven Ruins and you two can have a blast in there. There is a cool quest called the sword of solidarity that can get you a nice sword. That is also at lin.warcry.com. If you go this route, get the skills Heal, Battle Heal, and then do whatever. You ll just be his own personal healer. You can group in this manner in RoD sometimes too, if you find a fighter. Well congratulations, this should all get you to level 20 one way or another!

Level 20 Quest-So you want to be a Cleric? I suggest you use the walkthrough posted on lin.warcry.com in the quests section. This is a perfectly good explanation of the quest, the very one I used.

Equipment- I did not include the equipment for levels 1-20. I do not know your standing point; whether this is an alternate character of yours and you have top no grade (magic clothes + mage staff) or if this is your first character. My suggestion is for weapons is that you go from apprentices wand to Wand of Adept and slowly just increase your weapon as you can. For armor, I suggest you go from apprentices to Feriotic gear to Devotion set (Devotion robes and leather helmet). Those are the guidelines of what you eventually want, but too many factors come into play on by which level you should have this certain gear or stuff like that.

Cleric to Bishop

20-25
Well now that you re a healer, you want to have some fun, eh? Well I suggest that you join a clan, because healers are much needed and clans can help you out big time with gear. Also, you should start hunting in abandoned camp (AC). Here is what I did, and it works pretty well. Buy some duals of any kind (the bigger the better) and you can kill stuff there in combat. Also you can use your life drain skill to help with low hp. Heals help a lot too. So you run around AC dualing things to death. If you have high mp, and low hp, you can always use your wind strike and such. At level 21 you should get the quest Vanquish Remnants from Leopold in Gludin. This way you will make more money by hunting in AC. The skills you can get at level 20 are really your call for order. Hunting like this should get you to level 25 in no time (I did it after I got my wisdom teeth pulled, just an FYI : )).

25-30
I don t quite know why, but levels 25-30 seem hazy to me. I probably spent time killing Mandoragas near the Execution Grounds (EG) for a bit and then went to EG and killed neers. I mostly remember killing neers around level 30 more though But you can kill almost anything in the Dion area at these levels if you don t venture too far off.

30-40
Cruma, Cruma, Cruma Tower (CT). I spent many of my days in Cruma Tower (CT) and it sure paid off. Healers are usually always needed in there, so you find yourself a nice group, turn on the radio, and heal away. Here s the main tip though: Get small groups. If they work right, keep the group small. A group with a level 35 healer, 40 tank, and 40 dd (damage dealer) get almost double experience than a group of 7-9 members that are about level 30-35. Being in CT also helps with Adena. Because you don t have to be buying soulshots or spiritshots for your hunting, you can just relax and gain Adena. For these levels, when you get new skills, make sure to upgrade your heals first. They will be needed extremely in CT above all other things.
